Dr. Corey Williams is the Principal/CEO of the Rockdale Career Academy in Conyers, Georgia. Before becoming an administrator, he was a Mathematics teacher in Dekalb County and Newton County Schools. He also spent five years in the private sector as the Director of Curriculum for an educational consulting firm. He is passionate about helping students reach their full potential and building relationships with families in the community. He has served as a board member, research committee chair, and awards chair for the National Consortium of Secondary STEM Schools where he co-authored an article on Equity in STEM Education for the STEM Edge Magazine. Corey graduated from Georgia State University where he earned his Bachelor's in Mathematics, Master's in Secondary Mathematics Education, and Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction with a Concentration in Mathematics. He is the proud father of two beautiful kids, Kourtney and Cody. Also, he is a lucky guy to be married to his wife Jazmine.

Mrs. Edde Sommer - Assistant Principal

Mrs. Edde Sommer is honored to be a member of the administrative team at the Rockdale College and Career Academy (RCA). She began working in DeKalb County Schools in 1997 and moved to Rockdale County Public Schools in 2005 at Heritage High School as a science teacher. Mrs. Sommer transferred to RCA in 2013 and then transitioned into administration in 2016 where she became an Assistant Principal.

Mr. Christopher Mays - Assistant Principal

Mr. Mays is in his 16th year as an employee at RCA. He is in his 9th year as an assistant principal and previously taught English at RCA. Mr. Mays is an Army veteran and graduate of Ohio State and the University of West Georgia.

Mrs. Stacey Archer - Assistant Principal

Mrs. Stacey Archer is proud to be a member of the Rockdale Career Academy family. She began her educational career in 2007 as a Science Teacher in Sunrise, Florida. In 2011, Ms. Archer relocated to Conyers, Georgia, working as a science teacher at Rockdale County High School. Ms. Archer transitioned to Rockdale Career Academy in the spring semester of 2019. She serves as a liaison for the Science Department, and the PBIS team.
